The Best Days of Your Life

Published June 29, 2012 by jrm17

I’m going to regress to high school for this post.  The wonderful people at MTV have been showing retro or whatever they are calling it marathons of Laguna Beach in the mornings (I’m not sure like five years is retro if it’s even been that long).  I loved this show.  Okay, I’ll admit it.  I loved every MTV reality show in high school.  Two-A-Days–loved it and own the first season on DVD (It helps that I’m a huge Bama fan…I think).  Laguna Beach–watched just about every episode.  The Hills–I may have cried during the finale.  The City–made me love Whitney Port.  It’s sad and pathetic but all these shows made me want my life (and my clothes) to be like these girls’. The House That Built Me

Published June 27, 2012 by jrm17

Okay, it’s story time and I’m going to probably end up ranting today.  Now, let me preface this story with the fact that I am probably crying as I write this and it’s not rare that this is something I cry over.  Also, I would give anything is the world to get my way on this subject but I know that it’s just something that is not going to happen because I don’t have the right or any power in this situation. Shake Your Keys

Published June 25, 2012 by jrm17

I’m going to do my best not to be mean to the Keys because a) I love the Orioles and b) we always have fun at the games.  You see, we go to at least one game a season (though it seems the rain gods aren’t really pleased with us ever) and we went on Friday night.  We made it further into the game than last time we attempted–it poured, we left, they played at like midnight.  We actually made it through all nine innings a lot quicker than normal.  That quickness is part of what I’m going to start picking on. Let’s Have Breakfast, Lunch, And Dinner At Tiffany’s!

Published June 22, 2012 by jrm17

It’s been pretty boringly busy around here lately so we’re going to talk about something that I am clearly an expert on: Tiffany’s.  I’m just crazy about Tiffany’s (Don’t get me started I can quote the whole movie and tell you things about it you would probably never know otherwise)!  Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favorite movies ever; I love Audrey Hepburn and I wish I could be Holly Golightly.  My dear boyfriend listened and got me Tiffany’s for my birthday (Not my first but my favorite pieces).   Heck, I come from a family where Tiffany’s is basically a religion (There may have been a Tiffany’s bridal shower cake and the box collection might be considered decoration). Once Upon A Time…

Published June 20, 2012 by jrm17

So a year ago today at this exact moment…well, okay at this exact moment I was probably eating cereal or sleeping.  However, that night I went on the first date with Michael.  Yes, we saw Green Lantern and it was my fault for seeing a kind of dumb movie just because I like Ryan Reynolds.  Nevertheless, we have officially lasted one year so I figured I would write about some of the things I’ve learned over this year (Trust me, this does not make me a relationship expert in any way, shape, or form but this is solely based off my experience…which is probably very strange compared to most people’s). Friends on the Other Side

Published June 18, 2012 by jrm17

I did something pretty interesting this weekend.  Something that I had always said I wouldn’t do.  Something that I was pretty scared to do and am very proud of my self for not crying or peeing my pants while doing it.  You see, our friend who runs the ghost tours we go on decided she wanted to help the ghosts that we keep finding in our pictures.  So Ann figured this time we would try to contact the spirits. The Ugly Truth Isn’t So Ugly

Published June 15, 2012 by jrm17

Wednesday may have turned into a mess and then got cleaned up in a very girly fashion.  It may have involved a shopping trip that ended with us buying wine, ice cream, chocolate for the ice cream, and The Ugly Truth.  Michael kept complaining that people were going to think he did something wrong if they looked at what we bought.  Well, he did because he broke my The Ugly Truth DVD that I had just bought the day before.  It was an accident but, hey, an excuse for a girly trip is an excuse for a girly trip.  So, clearly (unless my rambling has confused you), I have to talk about The Ugly Truth and Katherine Heigl today.
