All Good Things Come To An End…And Sometimes Those Ends Are Disappointing

This past Christmas I read Beautiful Creatures for the first time (and the only time, but I’m assuming there’ll be subsequent readings at some point).  I fell in love.  Not with Ethan or Link or Uncle Macon, but with the plot and the originality of the book.  Last night, I finished the series with Beautiful Redemption.  Boy was that a let down. I Ain’t Mad At Cha

So I really wanted to use the beginning of my dear Tupac’s song that involved “change,” but there happens to be a bad word in that, and I ain’t risking it.  Anyway, changes are a’coming because I don’t get off work until 8:30 at night with this job (I know!  I’m going to miss so much TV and personal reading time with my favorite Celia Rivenbark).  I’m not sure how many posts I’ll get to a week, but here’s one for this week. Me Not Like

I have heard this many times in the past month or so.  “Me not like baby Layton or baby Chloe.”  “You not have a baby.”  My little Beezy is not happy with the new additions to our family nor is he too thrilled about plans I have in the next few years.  Today, Michael and I had a date with my boo, and let me tell you, it’s true when they say that kids say the darnest things.
