The Countdown Begins

It’s officially less than a week, and I will be in my beloved OBX! First I have to get through five more days of work and the ALL JAYs tonight, but that’s easy. So, I thought I’d give you some inside to the best of the best in my homeland.

Let me tell you how pathetic I am.  My birthday was super happy for me.  Why?  Not because it was my birthday.  I couldn’t have cared less about that.  It just meant I had an excuse to eat 4 pieces of cake.  I was super excited because it marked a month before we go to OBX!  And why does this make me pathetic?  Because I am in serious plan mode already….

Put Your Brave Face On

I am far from a brave person.  I hate being the center of attention and really just being around large groups of people in general makes me nervous.  I much more prefer to sit at home without any loudness or anything out of the norm.  I guess I’m just a homebody but I prefer introvert.  However, things changed a little during this past week while we were on vacation.
